Public Notice: Destruction of 2008-2009 Special Education Records
This is notification that the district is preparing to destroy certain inactive, personally identifiable information regarding services to students with disabilities. This information may include referral data, notice/consent documents, assessment reports and supporting data, ARD committee deliberation, and IEPs. Information on students who left the district prior to or during the 2008-2009 school year will be destroyed.
Reasons for leaving include graduation, dismissal from special education, dropping out, or moving away from the district.
Parents or adult students who wish to request their records for social security benefits or other purposes must do so in writing or making an appointment by August 1, 2017.
