On Nov. 19, Master Chief Martin Wesley, Naval Science Instructor for the NJROTC program at R. L. Turner High School, received the Teacher of the Year award from the local chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He has been teaching at RLT since 2007 after 22 years in military service.
