8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Join the K-5th grade students of the Command Coding Academy as they showcase what they have learned their first 7 weeks of the Coding program.
Newman Smith High School – CFBISD High School Options: Make an Educated Transition
6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Parents, join us and discover high school classes and programs that transform your child’s education!
McLaughlin Strickland Elementary – Parenting the Love & Logic Way
Every Monday from 10/21-11/19 parenting classes will be held from 5:30-7:00. English, and Spanish, classes will be provided. Childcare is available.

La Villita Elementary – Epic Build & Showcase
8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
La Villita families are invited to view students coding projects, which involved using software called Scratch to learn the basic ideas of computer science, and how to code with blocks.
Friday, October 25th
Early College High School (located at Brookhaven College) – Reb Ribbon Symposium
9:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Join ECHS, the Farmers Branch Chamber, and Brookhaven College, as they kick off Red Ribbon Week!
Central Elementary – Pastries with the Principal
9:30 a.m.
Parents are welcome to come and have pastries with the principal, and hear about the amazing things happening at Central!
Creekview High School – Homecoming Parade
2:00 p.m.
Creekview’s Homecoming Parade will start at Blalack Middle School, and end at Creekview. Come join in on the fun!
Blanton Elementary – School Dance
6:00 p.m.
PTA Sponsored dance featuring food, fun, and party music! Open to the community! Free admission-games and food available for purchase!
Furneaux Elementary – Fall Carnival
5:30 p.m.
Standridge Stadium – Creekview Homecoming vs. Denton High School
