Carrollton Mayor Visits Law Academy

Carrollton Mayor Visits Law Academy at Creekview High School. The Law & Criminal Justice Academy at CHS began a new event during the advisory period – a monthly speaker series. The inaugural speaker for the event was Carrollton Mayor, Kevin Falconer. Falconer spoke about servant leadership, civil responsibility, and his path to public office. The Mayor then took questions from academy students.

The Law and Criminal Justice Academy provides opportunities for students to explore various aspects of the American legal system.  Students may choose from the Law or Law Enforcement strands, may compete on Mock Trial or Moot Court teams, and may study through either the traditional or Dual Credit pathway.
