Winter Musical
Our Winter Musical is Tuesday, December 5 at 6:00 P.M. Mrs. Choi and students have been working really hard to create a very entertaining program for our school family! Make plans to attend, and invite a friend or neighbor to come out with you!
School Hours – Tardiness
We need your help! Please make sure your children arrive at school on time. Our doors open at 7:00 a.m. Students are picked up from the gym at 7:25. We begin our instructional day at this time. Students are not marked tardy until 7:40; however, they will have missed the first 15 minutes of the school day. This may seem minor, but if a child arrives at 7:40 for 10 days, they will miss 150 minutes of instruction over the course of 2 weeks. Over time, students develop gaps in their learning due to time missed in class. Please help us to make sure this isn’t happening. We appreciate your support in this matter.
Fall Picture Retakes
Fall picture retakes are scheduled for December 15. Students who were absent and those who are new to Riverchase will take pictures. Please make sure your child is wearing a collared uniform shirt, as these pictures will be used in the school yearbook.
Holiday Canned Food & Toy Drive
Riverchase is partnering with the Coppell Lions club to collect canned food items for holidays dinners as well as toys for holiday gifts. Please bring donated unwrapped toys & canned goods to our front office. We will collect donations until December 15. The Coppell Lions Club adopts several of our families each year. Thank you for your help!
Riverchase Night at Barnes & Noble
The Riverchase Choir will perform at Barnes & Noble in Lewisville on December 19 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Student artwork will also be on display. Riverchase will receive a portion of all sales when the school’s name is mentioned at checkout. All money raised will go towards purchasing books for our school. Winter Holiday Early Release Schedule
The last day of school before the Winter Holiday is December 22. Students will return Tuesday, January 9. The early release schedule is as follows:Thursday, December 21
